The martyr Thabet Rachid Abbas

The martyr was born in 1946 in the city of the Plaad, Mr. Thabet was single. He was graduated from Diploma Teachers Institute. The Martyr was known by the educational community as the savior of his creation and he his influence between students. In 1982, the Ba'athist regime carried out a brutal campaign of arrests. Mr. Thabet was in a group of detainees who were arrested as influential educational figures. He was arrested from his place of work in one of the classrooms in front of his pupils and went to the security office in Balad city.

Since then, until the death sentence was found after the fall of the tyrant on 18/8/1983 without a body or a grave. God's mercy on his pure soul.
